Another foggy start...

It was foggy again this morning, but not as much as yesterday, today we were able to see the cliff from the shores! And the sun is already coming out (it is 12:21 PM);
The Sea Lions are still hanging in the back of the Clam cave... who knows for how long...

Foggy Day...

It started with a 1 mile visibility this morning at 7:00 AM, but luckily it did clear up for the 9:20 AM Tour. That said because of the grey sky and the waves, we were not able to see many sharks, but all tours did manage to enter the Clam Cave and greet the Sea Lions in the back of the cave :-)
For the first tour we had a group of students from Hilltop, they all did enjoy the waves and the cave very much.

Foggy...

Early set up for the day (we are the Yellow boats!)

Group huddle before take off... GO HILLTOP!

Before things gets loose...

Time to go!

Let's do it!

No more red tide!

After a week dealing with patches of red tide from the Shores to the Cove, finally it did clear up.
The early tour at 9:20 was able to see about a dozen of Leopard sharks, to get in the cave and observe sleeping beauties ... Sea Lions...  Later on the sun came out to warm the air, and it got a little bit busier but it is so beautiful and calm.

Those pictures were taken on the 9:20 AM tour with Annette and David from Texas, with Dom as a guide.

The "After Labor Day Effect"

Calm streets, calm beach, calm and undisturbed wildlife, clear (and calm!) water, this is La Jolla Shores at its BEST! Look for yourself with those pictures and video taken this morning...
