What a beautiful summer day at La Jolla Cove! After yesterday's clouds and rain, we were luckily met with blue skies and calm water this morning. The water visibility was excellent; we could see all the way to the bottom of the rocky reef where our orange Garibaldi fish live. Once we arrive at the Clam Cave, we encountered dozens of sea lions! These playful creatures swam right underneath our boat, and we were lucky enough to capture some photos. A few sea lions joined us on the tour, floating along as we visited the different caves; others were content to sleep the day away on sunny rocks. All-in-all, a perfect day for kayaking and caving.

What a weekend! It's getting warmer here in La Jolla Shores and our guides are loving it! The clarity has been phenomenal on our paddle to the Seven Sea Caves as we've been able to see the reef a majority of the way! Here is Hannah, a new member to our team this summer crushing a headstand on her kayak!! Below is a nice shot of the California State Marine Fish: The Garibaldi, which we captured on a morning adventure. Lastly, one of our returning guides, Marlie was able to spend ample time in the Clam Cave with her tour and caught some big smiles! If you haven't joined us for a paddling adventure yet, come on by!

It's been a great start to our summer in La Jolla! The sun is out and the water is warming up everyday. Our tours have been full of animal sightings, everything from a few late in the season grey whales to our usual residents: the Bottlenose dolphins and sea lions.
